Grace J. Adams
Grace Adams joined the Branch Davidians in Waco, Texas in 1987 and left in 1991. She is a member of the International Cultic Studies Association (ICSA). Grace is an author and speaker. She has given many presentations and workshops on cult awareness in Colorado and New Zealand. She lives in New Zealand.
Poia Alpha joined the Branch Davidians in Waco, Texas in late 1986 and left in early 1990. For over 30 years, she has kept her story in the shadows to allow time for healing and recovery. Poia worked as a social worker and, for most of her career, as an educator in New Zealand schools. She also resides in New Zealand.

Grace Adams and Poia Alpha are two sisters from New Zealand who joined the Branch Davidians along with their younger sister Rebecca. Poia left the sect in early 1990, and Grace in late 1991. Rebecca remained with the group at the compound in Waco, Texas, and perished in the fire of April 1993.
